Individual (6 available) 1980s 1990s Philippe Starck Dr Glob chairs by Kartell Italy NOTE ON DELIVERY

Iconic design Dr Glob stacking chairs by Philippe Starck. Designed in 1988 and manufactured by Kartell (Italy) the idea came from combining two contrasting materials and two design elements (the thin lines of the metal and the thicker moulded shapes of the plastic). We have for sale 6 chairs, 2 in each of the 80s pastel colours of pink, grey and blue. (Price is for one chair). PLEASE READ THE NOTE BELOW ON DELIVERY
Note: there are slight variations in the sparkly metallic silver frames with some being slightly darker or lighter than others. The 2 pink are very close to each other, the 2 grey are close to each other but the blue chair frames show one a bit darker than the other (indeed one blue chair shows a later production date stamp of 1990s-2002 whereas the others are all 80s/90s). This doesn't really notice unless they're close to each other. Dimensions: 48cmH x 47.5cmW x 48cmD Seat Height 44cm
CONDITION: All the chairs are in good vintage condition which means they are solid but there are signs of expected age related wear after 30 years of use. There are some scuffs/scratches to the plastic parts and some tarnish/wear patches to the aluminium frames. We have tried to show a couple of examples of the sort of marks/tarnishing in pictures 5 and 6. A couple of the chairs have the rubber stoppers missing from the underneath of the plastic legs (this makes absolutely no difference visually) and one grey one has a very small gap between the top layer of plastic and the main seat (no structural issues and only visible on close inspection). In all they are solid, iconic and although not perfect still visually stunning. (Please do ask if you would like more information before purchase).
