Rare Italian lucite desk magnifier by Fabio Manlio Ciocco for Guzzini 1970s

Perfect for the modernist desk - this lucite work of art is a magnifier, or loupe, to be laid over text for easier reading.  We understand it was designed by Fabio Manlio Ciocco in 1972 as part of Guzzini's 'VIP' desk accessory range. Although other items from the range come up for sale every now and then, this particular piece is never seen. We have managed to obtain a limited stock of these, unused and still in the original packaging. The box may show signs of age and storage.
