Rare Telstar red wine glasses by Freuds of London - set of six unused

Stunning heavy stemless red wine glasses / water tumblers from Freud's Wine Bar shop. This is an unused set of 6 Telstar glasses in the original box bought as clearance stock in the early 2000s. Each is marked with the small FREVD logo in black. Research highlights how the designers wanted to draw on vintage designs and these certainly have a 70s modernist feel about them. The base is heavy clear glass and the waisted shape seems to have drawn upon the Holmegaard Canada glass design. The Scandinavian style is also akin to those currently available from Kosta Boda and Iittala.  The glass is approx 15.5cm tall and holds  400ml when full. Rare item.
